As an NICEIC Registered Contractor, we undertake periodic inspection reports for electrical installations on holiday, park home and touring parks throughout the United Kingdom conforming to the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
This forms the backbone of the requirements for all electrical installations with a section applicable to our industry. Further ‘Guidance Notes’ publications have also been issued which are applicable. The general rule of thumb is that park external electrical installations require a periodic inspection report at the following intervals:
• Holiday Parks – Every 3 years
• Touring Parks – Every year
• Park Home Parks – Every 3 years (with the
exception of overhead installations).
