Quick Overview

An alternative to the credit meter is the card meter option. This allows for the prepayment of electricity by the purchase of either £1.00 or £5.00 cards, which, when inserted into the meter, downloads the relevant amount of credit from the magnetic strip on the card, onto the meter. The meter then counts down to zero as electricity is consumed. Further cards can then be inserted into the meter at any time to ‘top up’ if required.
